Sakamaki Extraordinary Lecture: Biofuel Potential

"Biofuel Potential in Hawai`i" with Maria Tome, moderator, and panelists from Hawai`i Bienergy, Kuehnle Agrosystems, Hawai`i Natural Energy Institute and Pacific Biodiesel
Presentations from local companies engaged in the research and production of alternatives to fossil fuels, afrom algae to used cooking oil, discuss current developments in their field and their vision for the future.
Moderator Maria Tome is a registered professional engineer. She serves as the program manager for renewable and transportation energy at the Hawai1i State Energy Office of DBEDT; is the co-chair of the Hawai1i Clean Energy Initiative's Working Group on Transportation and Biofuels; and is a member of the Hawai`i Clean Energy Initiative's Integration Committee.
